United Healthcare (UNH:NYSE) was a new pick for paid subscribers on the short side 10-08-08 at $20.52 with a target of $17. By 10-10-08 the stock fell to $14.51 and the November $25 Puts went from $5.30 to $10.50 and the November r $22.50 Puts (UHBXX) went from $3.60 to 7.90.

Manitowoc (MTW:NYSE) originally given at $12.08 with the December $10 Calls (MTWLB) at $3.00-3.40. The stock hit $15.90 yesterday and those Calls hit $6.50 for a 90%+ gain.

This was a new pick from Monday and I was right on the takeover but wrong on the price.
Sovereign Bank (SOV:NYSE) at $3.81 and this morning it was announced that Banco Santander (STD:NYSE was buying the company for $3.81. Right Church wrong pew. Maybe there will be a higher offer but STD owns 10% already. I am not sure if it is worth holding for a higher offer. The price at the open will tell us if other bids are likely. Otherwise exit stage left
